Reno, NV - Jeremy McNeil, Executive Director of Nevada Right to Life PAC, announced that the PAC has endorsed Danny Tarkanian in Nevada’s 4th Congressional District. “Danny Tarkanian has long been a friend of the pro-life movement in Nevada,” McNeil said. “Since the early 1990’s he has been on the front lines in defense of innocent life. Nevada Right to Life PAC looks forward to him continuing this good work as a representative in Congress.” “Danny Tarkanian’s knowledge and experience will enable him to be an effective legislator in Washington and a capable representative of Nevada,” McNeil said. “Nevada Right to Life PAC is pleased to endorse Danny Tarkanian for United States Congress.” Nevada Right to Life PAC seeks to elect candidates to public office that respect the sanctity of human life. Nevada Right to Life PAC is nonpartisan, and its funds are separate from Nevada Right to Life. |

| Pro-Abortion EMILY's List Endorses Kate Marshall for Special Election | ||
|
On July 26, 2011, noted abortion-advocacy group, EMILY's List, endorsed Democrat Kate Marshall in the race for the second congressional seat left vacant by Senator Dean Heller. EMILY's List is "dedicated to electing pro-choice Democratic women to office." Obviously, a full endorsement for Marshall over her Republican opponent, Mark Amodei, indicates their faith in Marshall's abortion-rights position. Nevada Right to Life PAC cannot support a candidate for office who wins the endorsement of such a devoted pro-abortion organization. Pro-life voters in Nevada should cast their ballot for a candidate who recognizes the intrinsic value of human life. That vote, then, should not be for Kate Marshall. Early voting in the election begins August 27, 2011, and voting concludes September 13. Remember, this is not a primary election, but a special general election. |
